Steve Procher has been in the construction business for over 35 years. He grew up around construction. Steve’s grandfather was a bricklayer, his uncles included painters, carpenters and plumbers. Growing up around so many skilled men, the knowledge of the industry was all around him. Steve’s introduction to the trades came early. His father, Pat, a steel worker, had a stroke when Steve was nine and he literally became his father’s right hand in a successful landscaping business, which included the design and construction of decks, out-buildings, additions, etc.

His mother, Joan, was also a huge influence on Steve. A well known broker for Kelly & Cragg Realty (exclusive realtors for Wycliffe Homes), she taught him that good architectural design counts as much as location in a home’s value. Most important, attention to detail will bring you the best return for your real estate dollars. Steve got to know every level of home building and selling. Those early years inspired  him to want to build his own homes. He built his first home, at the age of 26, in the Innisfil area and followed with several custom builds.

Steve’s formal education awarded him a degree: Electronics Engineering Technician from DeVry Institute of Technology, though he will be the first to tell you that he really honed his skill in the trenches, and from the old school tradesmen he was exposed to from his early childhood days .

This type of knowledge comes from years of  being passionate about what he does, and you can see this in every detail of his workmanship. He believes that the job is not finished until he sees that smile on the face of his client. That’s where the true beauty is.
